Dominic DeSantis - guitar/lead vocal
After graduating from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Dominic decided to either pursue the dream of becoming a rock deity, go corporate or become a hockey goalie! Luckily for everyone involved, he followed his muse and joined the progressive rock group "Awaken" as lead singer/keyboardist.
To tame the acoustic beast that dwells inside him, the "joe-solo" singer-song writer years followed and continue to the present day. Others may recognize Dominic as Smith or Jones in the eclectic acoustic duo "Alias Smith and Jones" which has been performing solidly since 1997, or as the wedding singer in the variety band Shangri-la since 1995, and lest we forget his alter ego - the return of the guitar hero at www.guitarsuperhero.com since 2001.

When not clowning
around, Dominic has various musical irons in the fire. Besides teaching 80
plus students a week at The Gwinnett School of Music, this pedagogical
cannonball also heads the Gwinnett School of Rock department.
